Spenborough Swimming Club, established in 1890, aims to promote the sport of competitive swimming for the benefit of children in and around the Kirklees and Spen Valley area. We are a friendly club with a commitment, through structured, coach-led training programmes, to help every swimmer achieve their potential and be the best that they can be.

Spenborough Swimming Club is a SwimMark (formerly Swim 21) accredited club which recognises that we are committed to providing safe, effective and quality coaching of the highest standard for the benefit of all our swimmers

  In addition to the club membership fee, swimmers are required to pay Swim England fees.

• 21 Mar 2025sponsored swim on Tuesday the 21st of March
  We will be holding our sponsored swim on Tuesday the 21st of March. Everyone is welcome to attend you do not need to have a place in the regular Tuesday session. The session will be split 7-8 and 8-9 as usual. Distances available will be 400m, 800m, 1500m, 2000m 3000m, and time trial – as many lengths as possible in 60 mins.
